French Horn

Itinerant Lessons

 Time/Venue:

Wednesday mornings in room J12

 Requirements:

Students need their own instruments (hire or buy) as the school only owns a French Horn. Instruments are readily available for hire from KBB Music, Atwaters and the Auckland Band Instrument Company.

 Tutor:

James Morton B.Mus. (Hons) Dip Tchg: A Graduate of London University, James trained as a teacher at the Auckland Secondary Teachers College. He has played the Horn professionally for more than 35 years including 25 years with the Symphonia of Auckland, the Auckland Regional Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia. He has taught at Baradene since 1996 and teaches all Brass instruments (ie, Trumpet, Cornet, Horn, Trombone and Tuba.) Mr Morton has taken the School Concert Band in the past as well as a Brass Ensemble which may resume according to demand.
